HOMEMADE CANDY | |
1 c. sweetened condensed milk 1/4 lb. butter 3 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 pkg. powdered sugar Blend all of the above ingredients, shape into balls. Chill in the refrigerator on wax paper on a cookie sheet. Make the chocolate covers while the centers are cooling. CHOCOLATE COVERS: 8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate 8 oz. unsweetened chocolate 1/2 block paraffin wax Melt all of the above ingredients in a double boiler. Blend thoroughly. Keep melted chocolate warm. Dip the cooled centers, using a toothpick, quickly, into the melted chocolate. Place the candy back onto the waxed paper. Dribble a small amount of chocolate over the holes. Cool 1/2 hour. |
