SNICKERDOODLES 
1 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. golden brown sugar, or granulated
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape dough into balls, using rounded teaspoon of dough for each.

Combine sugar and cinnamon; roll balls of dough in sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes. About 44 cookies.
