EASY BROWN RICE 
1 stick butter
1 lg. onion
1 can beef broth
1 can beef consomme
1 c. rice (not minute rice)

Chop onion and saute in butter. In casserole, put onion and butter mixture, both cans of soup, and the rice (uncooked). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Rice will be firm but not dry when done. Serves 6.
