2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
4 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
4 c. oatmeal (old fashioned)
1 c. coconut (optional)
1 c. nuts (optional)
1 c. raisins (optional)
2 c. chocolate chips (optional)

Cream softened butter, butter, and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, then sift together the flour, soda, and salt. Add oatmeal and optional ingredients. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees until brown. Makes a BUNCH of cookies.
