YUM YUM YUMMY! I get TONS of compliments on this EVERY time I make it!!! 10 whole graham crackers (or enough to cover jelly roll pan) 1 cup (2 sticks) butter (no substitutes!) 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, cashews, or almonds taste best) Preheat oven to 350°F. Place graham crackers on jelly roll pan, covering entire pan evenly. Combine butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan on stove top and bring mixture to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Immediately pour over graham crackers in pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Remove pan from oven. Immediately sprinkle chopped nuts evenly over pan. Place pan in refrigerator and cool completely. Once it is completely cooled, break the crackers into pieces. Store in wax paper layers in a covered container. Submitted by: Cathy Deleon |
