FRENCH SILK CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 baked pie shell
1/4 lb. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 square chocolate, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
2 chilled eggs

Using an electric beater, cream butter and sugar, being certain that the sugar is completely dissolved. Beat about 10 minutes or until you cannot taste or feel any sugar grains. Add chocolate and vanilla. Add chilled eggs, 1 at a time, beating 2 minutes after each addition. Pour into pie shell. Chill for 1 hour. Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with chopped black walnuts or slivered toasted almonds.
