DAFFODIL ANGEL CAKE 
6 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
Flavoring

YELLOW PART:

6 egg yolks
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. boiling water

White part: Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff. Sift flour and sugar together 4 times. Fold into egg whites and add flavoring.

Yellow part: Beat egg yolks and sugar 3 minutes. Sift flour and baking powder together 4 times. Add to egg yolks with 1/4 cup boiling water. Place yellow part on top of white by spoonful in large angel cake tin. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
