PAPA'S BUTTERMILK BISCUITS 
2 c. self-rising flour
5 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. buttermilk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. With dough blender, mix flour and oil until mealy. Add buttermilk and mix well but do not overwork. Roll out dough on floured board to 1/4-inch thickness. Fold in half and cut with biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until tops are golden. Yield: 10-12 biscuits.
