HALIBUT FOR TWO 
1 lb. halibut steaks or fillets
1 tbsp. olive oil
Dash of garlic powder and pepper

Brush fillets or steaks with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper. Place fish in microwave proof dish. Cover with paper towel. Microwave on HIGH 3-6 minutes, turning dish halfway through cooking time. Microwave just until fish begin to flake when tested with fork. Let stand covered 2-3 minutes to continue cooking until fish flakes easily when tested with fork.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
