QUICK FRUIT COBBLER 
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
1 (13 x 8 inch) baking dish needed

Put butter in a baking pan and melt, make batter of the above ingredients (it will be thin) and pour in pan. Add 1 quart of desired canned fruit, including the juice. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees 40 to 45 minutes. The batter bakes up around the sides of the fruit and over the top enclosing the fruit. Serve hot or cold. Best hot with vanilla ice cream.
