STEW (OVEN OR CROCK POT) | |
1 lb. sirloin tips 1 (4 lb.) roast cubed 1 can tomatoes (with liquid) 1 can creamed corn 1 can cream of celery soup 1 pkg. dry Lipton onion soup mix 8 oz. water 1 lg. chopped onion 4 celery stalks, chopped 5-6 potatoes, cubed 1 pkg. carrots, chopped 2 tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. tapioca 3 slices dried bread crumbs Place meat in bottom of large oven roaster (or 5 quart crock pot). Put everything on top of meat. Bake covered at 225 degrees in oven for 5 hours (or on low setting in crock pot for 8-10 hours). |
