PECAN PIE CAKE | |
1 box butter yellow cake mix 1 egg 1/2 c. melted butter 1 1/2 c. white Karo 3 eggs 1/2 c. dark brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. chopped pecans Mix cake mix, 1 egg and butter together and save 2/3 cup of the cake batter. Pour remaining batter into 13x9 pan and bake for 15 minutes at 325 degrees. While this is baking, mix together Karo syrup, 3 eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, pecans and 2/3 cup cake batter. Pour this filling on top of warm cake and bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees. Let cool. Cut into squares. |
