CORNEY DOGS 
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. dry milk
1 egg
1 c. corn meal
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. water

Mix all ingredients together. Dry off wiener and insert stick into wiener. Dip into batter up to stick. Let some batter slide off wiener before deep frying.

Remove wrapper of a 3 pound can of shortening. Take out 1/4 of shortening from can before heating on stove. Deep fry. Makes about 18 hot dogs.
