CRANBERRY BOG BARS | |
1 1/4 cups butter softened & divided 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar divided 3 1/2 cups old fashion oats divided 1 cup all purpose flour 1 (16 oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans In a large mixing bowl, cream 1 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar; stir in 2-1/2 cups oats and four. Press into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Empty cranberry sauce in a small bowl and stir until smooth. Spread cranberry sauce over oat mixture in pan. In a microwave safe bowl, melt remaining butter; stir in pecans and remaining oats and brown sugar; mix well. Sprinkle over cranberry sauce. Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool.
