CRANBERRY BARS | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 c. oatmeal 3/4 c. packed brown sugar 1 tsp. grated lemon peel 1/4 tsp. baking soda 3/4 c. melted butter 1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce 1/4 c. chopped walnuts Stir first five ingredients together. Add butter. Save 1 cup for topping. Pat rest in 12 x 7 ungreased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Spread cranberry sauce on crust. Stir nuts into reserved dry mixture. Spread on cranberry sauce. Pat in. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool on pan on rack. |
