BEST EVER BRAN MUFFINS 
1 1/4 c. All Bran
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. boiling water
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1/4 c. corn oil
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda

Grease 12 muffin tins and preheat oven to 375°F.

Combine 1 cup of bran with raisins and boiling water. Set aside.

Combine brown sugar, oil, egg, buttermilk and remaining bran. Stir until mixed.

Sift flour and baking soda into buttermilk mixture. Add raisins to mixture and stir until smooth.

Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for about 20 minutes.
