CHOCOLATE WALNUT CANDY COOKIES 
2 (6 oz.) pkgs. chocolate chips
3 tbsp. softened butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/3 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. coarsely broken walnuts

Melt 1 cup chips over boiling water. Stir together butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Beat with spoon until smooth. Stir in melted chips and milk. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in chips and walnuts. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool slightly, remove to rack.
