FRUIT PIZZA 
CRUST:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

In a mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; blend into creamed mixture. Press dough into a 14 or 16 inch pizza pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

CREAM FILLING:

2 pkg. (8 oz. each) softened cream cheese
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 carton (8 oz.) thawed Cool Whip

For the filling whip cream cheese until smooth; add sugar and whipped topping. Spread over crust.

GLAZE:

1 c. pineapple juice
1 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. cornstarch

For the glaze, combine juices with cornstarch; cook and stir until thickened. Reserve 1/2 cup; spread remaining warm glaze over filling. Arrange fruit over glaze and brush reserved glaze over fruit. Chill until ready to serve.

FRUIT YOU CAN USE:

1 1/2 c. fresh raspberries
2 kiwi fruit, peeled & sliced
2 bananas, sliced
1 pt. strawberries, hulled & sliced
