FUDGE PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans or halves
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Melt butter with cocoa in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and add sugar; beat well. Add eggs and continue beating. Add flour, vanilla and pecans; mix well.

Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool slightly and serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired. Makes 8 servings.
