CHEDDAR NUT BREAD 
1 slightly beaten egg
1 c. undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
1/2 c. water
3 3/4 c. buttermilk baking mix
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. chopped nuts or onion

Combine egg, evaporated milk, water, baking mix, cheese and nuts or onion. Mix vigorously 30 seconds or until blended. Spoon into buttered 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool. Serve warm or cold. Approximately 12 slices.
