STOVE TOP POT PIE 
1 chicken, cut up
1 pkg. frozen peas and carrots
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 lg. potato, diced
Pepper and salt
Dumplings

Boil chicken in salted water until tender. Bone chicken, cool and cut in bite size pieces. Take chicken broth, bring to boil. Add onion, peas and carrots, potato. Roll dumplings dough to about 1/8 inch. Cut in strips. Cut dumplings to about 1 x 1/2 inch. Cook vegetables until tender. add chicken soup, then dumplings. Cook until dumplings are done. Add chicken. You can eat like this or put in pie crust and bake. 1 crust for bottom and 1 crust for top.
