GREEN BEAN SALAD 
1 can whole green beans
1 can bean sprouts
3 strips bacon
1/3 c. vinegar
1/3 c. sugar

Heat green beans with bean sprouts for 30 minutes; drain. Cook bacon until crisp; remove from fat. Add vinegar and sugar to bacon fat; bring to a boil. Place beans and bean sprouts in a casserole; pour bacon fat mixture over all. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Garnish with bacon. Cool to room temperature before serving. Yields: 4 servings.
