MARINATED BEAN SALAD 
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can green beans
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can wax beans
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can bean sprouts
1 c. cider vinegar
1 med. onion, sliced
1 tsp. pickling spices
2 tsp. sugar
4 tbsp. bacon bits

Drain beans, reserving 1/2 cup liquid. Combine reserved liquid with vinegar, onion, sugar and pickling spices. Mix well. Cover and marinate in refrigerator overnight, stirring occasionally. Before serving, sprinkle bacon bits over salad. Makes 12 servings.
