CHOCOLATE PEANUT - BUTTER - CUP
COOKIES
 
2 1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. smooth peanut butter
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 lg. eggs
5 (2 oz.) peanut butter cups, each cut into 8 pieces
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt. In large bowl beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each. Gradually beat in flour mixture until smooth. Stir in peanut butter cup pieces and chocolate chips. Drop dough, 3 tablespoons per cookie, onto ungreased cookie sheet, 1 inch apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
