CHOW MEIN 
2 tbsp. oil
2 onions, chopped
1 1/2 lbs. stew beef
3 c. celery, chopped
1 1/2 c. beef broth (bouillon cube)
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. molasses
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cans Chinese vegetables, drained
1 pkg. pea pods
1 sm. can mushrooms

Saute onions in oil. Add meat and brown. Add celery, beef broth, soy sauce, salt, molasses and sugar. Cover and cook 1 hour on simmer. Add vegetables, mushrooms and pea pods. Mix 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water to thicken. Serves 5 or 6.
