CHICKEN BROTH 
Chicken giblets, backs, etc.
3 carrots, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 clove garlic
Generous dash tumeric
Generous dash pepper
Generous dash salt
3 bay leaves
6 c. water

Place chicken, carrots, celery, garlic and seasonings in water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 45 minutes. Strain and refrigerate overnight. Next day, skim off fat. Serves 8.
