ESCALLOPED QUAHOGS 
1 pt. cutout quahogs (save liquid in shells when opening)
1 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 tsp. pepper
Uneeda biscuits, coarsely crumbled

Beat milk, egg, and pepper together and add liquid from quahogs. Alternate layers of cracker crumbs and quahogs, ending with crumbs. Make hole down through the layers with a fork. Pour liquid mixture over all. Dot with butter generously and bake in 325 degree oven for 1 hour. Serves 4.
