CHILI VERDE 
1/2 lb. cubed steak
2 Ortegas, chopped
1 c. stewed tomatoes
1 med. onion
Salt, pepper, garlic salt to taste

Brown steak, onions and seasonings. Cook until done. Add chopped Ortegas and tomatoes. Heat and serve.

I usually use round steak cut in bite-size pieces and any leftover meat, chicken, pork, etc. Also, I use a can of Ortega salsa instead of chilies. I usually simmer it about 20 minutes so it can be served over hot buttered toast.
