LOBSTER ROLL HORS D'OEUVRES | |
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese 1 stick butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1 lb. lobster meat 1 loaf sliced bread Melt cheese and butter in double boiler; stir until smooth. Stir in salt and lobster meat. Remove crusts from bread. Place slices between waxed paper; roll out thin with rolling pin. Place generous amount of lobster mixture on each bread slice. Roll up each slice; wrap in waxed paper. Freeze overnight. Remove from freezer when ready to serve. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Rolls may be cut into bits or bite-sized pieces and served with toothpicks. Yield: 30 slices. |
