CUCUMBER SALAD 
3 c. chopped cabbage
1 1/2 red onion
1 bell pepper
1 or 2 cucumbers
1 1/2 c. chopped or grated coarse carrots

Put in dish in layers or stir up.

DRESSING:

2/3 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed

Boil 2 minutes. Add 3/4 cup vegetable oil. Cool before pouring over salad. Will keep several days in refrigerator.
