CREAM CHEESE COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and cheese. Add sugar. Beat until fluffy. Add egg yolk. Add flour and vanilla. Mix well and chill for at least 1 hour. Shape into 1 inch balls. Press on greased cookie sheet. Add candied cherry half. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
