HOT MILK SPONGE CAKE | |
2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. hot milk with 1 tbsp. butter Beat eggs well until thick and lemon colored. Add sugar slowly and mix well. Add vanilla. Add flour and baking powder which have been sifted. Add hot milk and butter last. Beat until well blended; do not over beat. Bake in 9x13 inch pan or tube pan at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. |
