SOUTHERN SAUSAGE CAKE 
1 lb. hot bulk sausage
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 sm. chopped green pepper
1 s. chopped red pepper
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. grated jalapeno flavored cheese
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. Tabasco
1 1/2 tsp. combination salt and pepper and garlic powder
2 c. biscuit mix
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sour cream

Brown vegetables and sausage; drain. Add cheese, egg and seasonings. Make batter of biscuit mix, milk and sour cream. Gently stir sausage mixture into batter and put into greased baking tin. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes and allow to cool to room temperature. Can be frozen for later use. To serve, cut into squares.
