CREAM CHEESE BROCCOLI SUPREME 
This is a wonderfully elegant broccoli casserole! It's sure to please your guests and family.

1 1/2 lbs. fresh broccoli
1/2 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. herb seasoned stuffing crumbs

Trim off large leaves of broccoli, and remove tough ends of lower stalks. Wash broccoli thoroughly and separate into spears. Place broccoli in boiling water (just enough to cover) and cook until tender, approximately 10 minutes. Drain.

Saute onion in 1/2 stick butter in large saucepan. Add soup and cream cheese. Stir over low heat until cream cheese melts. Gently fold in broccoli. Put mixture in a 9"x10" buttered baking dish. Top with herb crumbs. Dot with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
