STRAWBERRY-PINEAPPLE JELLY MOLD | |
2 pkgs. strawberry jello 2 c. boiling water 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries 1 (14 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 lg. banana, diced 1/2 pt. sour cream Dissolve jello in hot water in large bowl. Add frozen strawberries; let cool until begins to thicken. Add pineapple. Add banana to which lemon juice has been added. Put layer (less than half) of jello mixture in a mold. When it gets firm, spread a thick layer of sour cream over jello mixture. Chill. Put remaining jello mixture over sour cream. Chill until firm. Turn out on glass plate. Makes large mold. |
