CANDIED POPCORN 
4 qts. cooked popcorn
2 c. dry roasted mixed nuts
1 1/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. corn syrup
2/3 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Oven 250 degrees. Place popcorn and nuts in large container.

Cook sugar, syrup and butter over medium heat until mixture boils, stirring constantly. Continue cooking 5 minutes more without stirring. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn. Mix and stir well. Spread evenly on greased cookie sheets. Bake uncovered 1 hour. Cool. Break apart and store in airtight containers.
