SQUASH CASSEROLE 
3 to 4 med. yellow squash
1 onion
1/2 lb. sausage
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1 can mushroom soup
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook squash and onion until tender. Drain off liquid, add butter, salt and pepper. Brown sausage in skillet. Mix together squash, sausage, soup and 1 cup cheese. Pour into cooking dish and top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake 300 degrees about 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
