FRENCH PASTRY BARS 
1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Powdered sugar

Mix flour, brown sugar and butter (like pie crust mix). Press into 9"x13" pan and bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Mix beaten eggs, brown sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla and chopped nuts. Spread on baked layer. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
