BARBECUED RIBS | |
Serves 8. Put 1/2 - 3/4 cup of water in a large pan. Add 6 1/2 pounds country style pork or beef ribs. Slice 2 onions on the top of the meat. Simmer about 3 hours. BARBECUE SAUCE: 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 c. granulated sugar 1 can tomato soup 1 soup can water Let this boil 3-4 minutes. Remove ribs from first pan and place in shallow pan. Add part of the barbecue sauce. Place in 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour before you are ready to serve. Baste occasionally. Cover with foil if they are getting too brown. If cooked ribs are cold, it will take 45 minutes to 1 hour or more to get them hot. |
