FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. water
4 tbsp. cornstarch
2 boxes strawberry jello
2 deep pie shells
Cool Whip
1 qt. fresh strawberries

Mix together sugar and cornstarch and then add water. Bring to a boil and thicken. Take off stove and add jello and cool. Put strawberries in pie crusts and pour cool mixture over them. Put in refrigerator 2 1/2 hours. After they jell, top with Cool Whip if desired.
