PIZZAIOLA | |
1 1/2 to 2 lb. chuck steak (roast) 1 can tomatoes 1/2 tsp. oregano, dried 1 tsp. minced parsley (dried) or 3 tbsp. fresh parsley 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tbsp. minced onion 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded pizza cheese (or Mozzarella) Salt & pepper to taste Cut meat into serving pieces and reassemble in a baking pan or casserole that fits the size of the meat. Mix everything together except the oil and the cheese and pour it over the meat. Dribble oil over the mixture. Cook uncovered 1 1/2 hours. Sprinkle the cheese over the mixture and cook another 15 minutes. Serve with spaghetti. (This smells wonderful while it's cooking!) |
