MIXED VEGETABLE SWEET - SOUR
SALAD
 
1 pkg. (20 oz.) mixed frozen vegetables
1 c. Heinz white vinegar
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. chopped red onion
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 can chopped water chestnuts

Cook vegetables as directed. Drain. Combine vinegar, sugar and oil. Boil 5 minutes. Pour over vegetable while both hot. Let cool completely. Add remaining vegetables. Salt to taste. Cover and refrigerate 2 days, stirring a couple of times a day. Very good and pretty too!
