1 c. flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/4 c. shortening 1 c. Sourdough Starter 2 tbsp. melted butter Stir flour, baking powder, salt, soda, and sugar. Cut in the shortening to cornmeal stage. Stir in Starter until soft dough forms. Knead gently about 30 seconds. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut. Put on ungreased sheet. Let rest 15 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 minutes. |
