SOUR DOUGH BISCUITS | |
1 1/2 c. sifted flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. lard 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. "starter" Sift dry ingredients together then cut in lard. Add starter and mix well. Turn dough out on a floured board and knead until smooth. Roll out, cut and place on greased pan. Let rise 1 hour. Bake approximately 20 minutes at 425 degrees. |
