MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER | |
3 (7 oz.) cans minced clams, not drained 3 med. potatoes, peeled and diced 3 med. carrots, peeled and diced 4 med. stalks celery, chopped 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, not drained 1 tbsp. bacon flavored bits 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. thyme leaves 1/4 tsp. pepper Combine all ingredients in a large kettle. Add 4 cups water. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Makes 8 servings, about 100 calories each. |
