GREENS & BEAN SALAD | |
1/2 c. salad oil 2 tbsp. vinegar 3/4 tsp. salt 3/4 tsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. celery seed 1/4 tsp. paprika 1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans, drained 4 c. torn lettuce 2 c. torn fresh spinach 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded natural Swiss cheese In screw top jar combine dressing ingredients. Cover and shake to mix well. Marinate green beans in oil mixture in refrigerator at least 2 hours. Just before serving, drain beans reserving marinade. Toss beans with lettuce and spinach and Swiss cheese. Add reserved marinade and toss to coat. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
