ROCKY ROAD BROWNIES 
6 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
26 lg. marshmallows, halved
Chocolate Glaze (see)

In saucepan melt butter and chocolate over low heat; stir constantly. Remove from heat. Add sugar and vanilla; mix well. Beat in eggs. Stir together flour, salt and baking powder; add to chocolate mixture, blending well. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 11 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

When done, immediately arrange marshmallow halves over top, 6 rows crosswise and 9 rows lengthwise. Return to oven 2-3 minutes. While hot, drizzle with chocolate glaze. Cool. Use a wet knife to cut into bars.

CHOCOLATE GLAZE:

Melt 1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate and 1 tablespoon butter over low heat; stir constantly. Remove from heat; stir in 1 cup sifted powdered sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until crumbly. Blend in enough boiling water (about 2 tablespoons) until of pouring consistency.
