RED BEANS AND RICE 
2 cans red beans, drained
6 slices bacon, diced
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne
1 lb. smoked sausage, sliced
Hot cooked rice

Saute onions with bacon until tender; drain. Stir in beans and remaining ingredients, except rice. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve atop rice. Makes 6 servings.
