STRAWBERRY ICEBOX CAKE 
1 lb. vanilla wafers
1/4 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 qt. strawberries, cut in half
1/2 pt. whipped cream

Crush wafers finely and put more than half on bottom of 18"x12"x2" pan. Cream butter and mix with sugar; add one egg at a time and beat well. Spread over crumbs in pan then cover with sliced berries. Spread whipped cream over berries, then cover with remaining crumbs. Place in refrigerator overnight. Serve with whipped cream and strawberries on top. Serves 6 to 8.
