STRAWBERRY ICEBOX CAKE 
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, crushed fine
2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen strawberries, thawed
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
3 eggs, separated
Lg. Cool Whip
2 1/4 sticks butter

Place 3/4 of cookie crumbs in long cake pan. Mix sugar, butter and egg yolks. Beat egg whites and mix with sugar mixture and spread over cookie crumbs. Spread strawberries over sugar mixture and sprinkle nuts over berries. Spread Cool Whip over nuts and sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs. Place in refrigerator and let set for 24 hours before cutting.
